Archaelogical collection is the largest museum collection, which counts approximately 13.000 pieces ranging from Earlier Stone Age to the End of Medieval Period. It is the very first Museum’s collection. Nowadays it is substantially larger because of systematical Archaelogical excavations at Mokrin, Ostojićevo, Iđjos, Podlokanj and other sites. The most important Archaelogical features are from the Bronze Age, and among them are pieces from Mokrin necropolis. Mokrin necropolis has been explored during 1950s and 1960s, but it still occupies attention of domestic and foreign scientists.
