Ethnological collection was formed in 1946. Since that time, items for this collection were systematically purchased and collected, so it has been expanded to count over 5.000 pieces. Variety of objects reveal entire past way of living, pertaining to trade, agriculture and home craft.

One of the most praiseworthy items is the gold cap ("kapa zlatara"). It is characteristic head covering for wealthy peasant brides of 19th century, granted to them by the groom’s family.
